Mrs de Grande - Class Teacher
Hello, I am Mrs de Grande. I have been teaching since 2006 and my career has included 5 years as a secondary school teacher, before moving to teach in primary schools. I taught Year 6, here at SMC, for almost 5 years before moving to teach the Year 5 class, last year, and love the challenges that come with preparing pupils for their transition into the next phase of their education at secondary school. I have also taught across all of KS2, and have had a number of short stints in year 2 as a supply and cover teacher. In addition to my teaching, I am the Assistant Headteacher with lead responsibility for Curriculum and Assessment and am also the Staff Governor for the school.
