Mrs de Grande - Class Teacher
Hello, I am Mrs de Grande. I have been teaching since 2006 and my career includes 5 years as a secondary school teacher, before moving to primary school teaching. I taught Year 6, here at SMC, for almost 5 years before moving to teach the Year 5 class for two years. I have also taught across all of KS2, and am delighted to become the Year 2 teacher this year. Year 2 is such a great year with children who are always keen to learn and make massive leaps of progress across the academic year.
In addition to my teaching, I am the assistant headteacher with lead responsibility for curriculum and assessment, and I am also the school staff governor.
