International Day
Here at St Margaret Clitherow we celebrate our the diversity of our school family.
We have 22 different home languages and a range of countries represented by the children in our schools.
Each year we aim to celebrate these cultures by inviting the children and adults to come to school wearing their National Dress or clothing that represents their home country. We also bring in national dishes and food to share with each other allowing children to experience foods from around the globe.
This year, the children also participated in dance workshops showcasing the dance styles of Northern Europe. The classes chose the following dance styles: Irish, Scottish, Spanish and Turkish.
