Mrs de Grande - Class Teacher Tuesday
Hello, I am Mrs de Grande. I have been teaching since 2006 and my career includes 5 years as a secondary school teacher, before moving to primary school teaching. I taught Year 6, here at SMC, for almost 5 years before moving to teach the Year 5 class for two years and then Year 2 last year. I am delighted to be with Year 2 for two days a week and back in Year 6 for one day a week; for both year groups it is such a great year supporting children as they transition through to the next key stage and helping them to achieve to the best of their ability.
In addition to my teaching, I am the Assistant Headteacher with lead responsibility for curriculum and assessment, and I am also the school staff governor.
