Walk to School Week

We took part in the annual Walk to School Week again this year.

Across the week and across the school, The children either walked, rode a bike or scooted their way to over 600 journeys to school.

These journeys will help the children to be healthy, mentally awake and prepared for lessons and also have the benefit of helping us to reduce our carbon footprint.

Thank you to all the parents who make it possible for our young people to embed these healthy habits at such an early age.

Walk to School Week May 2025 - The Great Space Race

Our school is taking part in Walk to School Week (20-24 May). The nationwide event is organised by walking charity Living Streets and designed to help pupils experience first-hand the importance of walking to school. Children will be well on their way to reaching their recommended minimum 60 minutes of physical activity per day before even reaching the school gates! Not only will it set them up for a positive day in the classroom, but it will also help create healthy habits for life.
